Pauline Anderson

	Pauline Anderson of Pinckneyville passed away at the Pinckneyville Skilled Care Unit on January 2, 2000 at the age of 85.  She had been in failing health for several months.
	Mrs. Anderson was born in Cutler on May 21, 1914, the daughter of Harvey and Agnes (Hardy) Brown.  She was united in marriage in Cutler on July 21, 1935 to Rube Anderson and to this union was born two children.  Her husband preceded her in death on April 30, 1982.  She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, John and Carl Brown.
	She was a kitchen worker at the Pinckneyville High School and Pinckneyville Community Hospital and also a bookkeeper for the Mobil Oil Co.
	She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Rebekkah Lodge, Senior Citizens, Royal Neighbors and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
	Survivors are one daughter, Ruby Graskewicz and husband Kenneth of Pinckneyville; one son, Robert Anderson and wife Deanna of Washington; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Marjorie Quillman of Steeleville and two brothers, her twin, Paul Brown of DuQuoin and Wallace Brown of Pontiac, MI.
	Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 5 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Charles Boling officiating.  Interment was in the Mueller Hill Cemetery.
	Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
	Friends were able to call at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6 until 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8 until 10 a.m. and then at the church until time of services.
